Kentucky native Dr. L. Douglas Knight has been shaping smiles with expertise since 1995. After completing his undergraduate and dental degrees at the University of Kentucky, Dr. Knight enhanced his skills in the Army Dental Corps for seven years, followed by practicing General Dentistry.
His dedication to orthodontics led him to a two-year residency at New York University, where he specialized in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.
Dr. Knight completed advanced education in general dentistry and a comprehensive clinical program in Occlusion and Orthodontics at the Roth Williams Center for Functional Occlusion.
Now a board-certified orthodontist and a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, Dr. Knight is recognized internationally as a leader in orthodontic techniques, including skeletal anchorage and dentoalveolar distraction osteogenesis.
